When financial hardship, job loss, medical crisis, or predatory lending threatens that legacy, BDHA answers the call and advocates to:

• Intervene with wisdom and strength when it has started
• Restore hope and stability after justice has failed you.
• With help from our sacred donors, we do this without charge because justice should never have a price tag.       BDHA is sustained by the faithful giving of individuals, congregations, and businesses who believe that if  “the borrower is servant to the lender,” it should never become “the lender is destroyer of the family.” Our work is simple yet profound: Love your neighbor as yourself by helping them keep the roof over their head or find a new path forward with dignity.
